Dr. Margit Muenyi is a dedicated mental health professional, educator, and community advocate committed to improving access to compassionate, culturally responsive mental health care. As the Founder and Executive Director of Integrated Community Mental Health Services, she leads the organization's mission of providing accessible, person-centered behavioral health services while reducing the stigma surrounding mental illness through education, advocacy, and community engagement.
Dr. Muenyi earned a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) with a specialization in Psychiatric Mental Health, equipping her with advanced clinical expertise in the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of mental health conditions across the lifespan. She also holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) and a Bachelor of Science in Botany, reflecting her lifelong passion for science, healthcare, and improving human well-being through evidence-based practice.
In addition to her healthcare career, Dr. Muenyi serves as a Financial Professional with World Financial Group, where she helps individuals and families build financial security through education and strategic financial planning. She believes that financial wellness and mental wellness are deeply connected and that empowering individuals in both areas contributes to healthier, more resilient communities.

Originally from a country where mental illness is often misunderstood and heavily stigmatized, Dr. Muenyi developed a profound passion for transforming the way mental health is viewed and treated. Witnessing firsthand how stigma prevents individuals and families from seeking help inspired her lifelong commitment to advocating for compassionate, culturally sensitive, and equitable mental health services.
Throughout her career, Dr. Muenyi has worked with adolescents, adults, and older adults experiencing a wide range of psychiatric conditions, including depression, anxiety disorders, bipolar disorder, trauma-related disorders, ADHD, substance use disorders, and severe mental illness. Her clinical approach emphasizes holistic, evidence-based care that integrates medication management, psychotherapy, patient education, and collaboration with families and community partners.
As the leader of Integrated Community Mental Health Services, Dr. Muenyi is committed to expanding access to quality behavioral healthcare through innovative programs, community partnerships, tele-mental health services, prevention initiatives, and education designed to eliminate stigma and promote recovery. Her vision is to build healthier communities where mental health care is accessible, affordable, and embraced as an essential part of overall wellness.
Beyond her professional accomplishments, Dr. Muenyi is a devoted wife and the proud mother of four children. Her experiences balancing family life, professional leadership, and community service have strengthened her belief that strong families and healthy communities begin with emotional well-being, compassion, and access to quality care.
Dr. Muenyi continues to advocate for individuals and families affected by mental illness while inspiring others to view mental health through a lens of empathy, hope, and healing. Through Integrated Community Mental Health Services, she strives to create lasting change by empowering individuals, supporting families, and building communities where everyone has the opportunity to thrive.

Mr. Paul Muenyi serves as the Board Chair of Integrated Community Mental Health Services (ICMHS), bringing a distinguished record of leadership, professional excellence, and lifelong community service. His diverse experience spans science, manufacturing, workforce development, nonprofit leadership, finance, technology, and humanitarian service, providing strategic guidance that advances ICMHS's mission of expanding access to compassionate, equitable, and high-quality mental health care.
Paul holds a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Botany, a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Crop Physiology, and an Associate Degree in Process Technology. He has also earned multiple Information Technology certifications, reflecting his commitment to continuous learning, innovation, and organizational excellence.
For more than a decade, Paul has served in the sugar refining industry in Louisiana as a Lead Trainer and Educator, where he has led workforce development initiatives, designed employee training programs, promoted operational excellence, and fostered a culture of safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement.

His passion for service extends well beyond his professional career. For over ten years, Paul has volunteered with the Society of St. Vincent de Paul, serving as both a Caseworker and Conference President. In these leadership roles, he has assisted individuals and families experiencing financial hardship by providing compassionate support, advocacy, and access to essential community resources.
Paul has also served for more than five years as Chairman of a Catholic Church Mission Station, providing servant leadership, strengthening community engagement, and supporting initiatives that promote faith, compassion, and social responsibility.
As Co-Founder and Board Vice Chair of the Louisiana Organization for Refugees and Immigrants (LORI), Paul has helped establish and advance programs that empower refugees and immigrant families through advocacy, education, community integration, leadership development, and resource mobilization. His work reflects a deep commitment to equity, inclusion, and improving opportunities for underserved populations.
In addition to his nonprofit leadership, Paul is a licensed financial professional with World Financial Group and an entrepreneur. His expertise in financial planning, organizational governance, business development, leadership, and technology strengthens the strategic direction and long-term sustainability of ICMHS.
As Board Chair, Paul is committed to promoting strong governance, transparency, accountability, and collaborative partnerships that expand access to quality behavioral healthcare. Guided by compassion, integrity, and servant leadership, he works alongside fellow board members, staff, community partners, and stakeholders to ensure that ICMHS remains responsive to the evolving mental health needs of individuals and families. His vision is to help build healthier, more resilient communities where every person has access to person-centered, culturally responsive mental health services and the opportunity to thrive.
